Around the World Dinner's

The kid's and I checked out an "Around the World, Kid's cookbook" from the library, and this week we are going to be having dinner from a different part of the world every night, and the best part is, the kid's are supposed to be helping with the cooking. I will try to post our creations as they come this week. Tommorow night is "Asia night" yeah!

Things my kids say or do

Joseph and Betsy were doing the dishes, and Betsy comes into the living room (with her fists clenched at her sides) and says "Mom! Joseph is boring me with science" I thought that was hilarious, and started laughing, but she was mad, and stamped her foot, then stomped up the stairs to her rooom
I told Sam he has issues, and he said (well yelled), "There is nothing wrong with my shoes"
I was talking to Betsy about some people who were from very small cities, that people don't really know about, and she said "you mean like America and Russia?"
On a Mother/Daughters date with Betsy and Austin, we were at a store with massage chairs on display, and we sat in them for awhile, when we were done Austin said "Mom, you need one of those to relax, I'm going to ask Santa to get it for you for Christmas"
Samuel came in the room while I was practicing the piano, and asked me to close a ziploc baggie with liquid in it for him. As I was closing it for him, I asked what it was..he said "I peed in it"....gross...I will never understand boys...I have no clue what he was going to do with it, but I'm glad I got rid of it before he could do something with it.
Was on a Mother/Daughter date with Betsy and I discovered that she sits next to all boys at her table at school, I told her If I was a boy I would want to sit by her, and she said if I was a boy I would want to marry her...silly girl.
Travis and I were playing MarioKart today on the Wii, and Samuel was watching us. Travis was getting upset, becuase I kept winning, and so Samuel came over to me and told me to go slower so Daddy could win. Such a sweet boy....and even though I tried my hardest Travis was the first one to get 1st place in a race
Austin asked me: "Do adults forget things?" Joseph answered for me and said "When they're as old as Daddy they do."
Betsy said, "I can't marry Josh Dutton, becuase then my initials would spell B.A.D. (Betsy Anne Dutton)
Samuel said "I'm 5 now, so it's my birthday everyday"
