Gideon lost his first tooth! Travis being farewelled from his previous unit and given a nice gift with a picture of a horse with his hat.
Caleb had a great time on his 12th birthday! Lots of fun with friends, and nerf guns! Caleb loves the tornado lava lamp he got for his birthday! Caleb got two birthday cakes, a huge Reeses peanut butter cups, surrounded by little ones. A neighbor also brought over a small cake she made to give to Caleb. We got to go to see a movie as a family ( I think the new Ant Man movie)

Malachi got mad at Caleb when they were going to bed and threw a hard plastic toy and it hit Caleb and broke his front tooth cut through his bottom lip. Malachi learned an important lesson to not throw things in anger, especially when you can't see where you are aiming. Luckily, we have a great dentist, and he was able to put a filling on Caleb's tooth and make it look almost the same as it did before.
February brings Caleb's and Austin's birthdays and Valentine's Day. Travis was in the field for the first part of the month and was gone for that. Samuel and Betsy have been working at Subway (Samuel since December, and Betsy since June of last year). Gideon got to participate in a CAST program which helps special needs kids with a morning of fishing. With Gideon diagnosed with Autism we all got to go, it was a really cold morning, but everyone had a good time. Malachi enjoyed the fishing the most though, and we got free fishing gear for all the boys, so it was nice.
