| This is Gideon's favorite hike! He loved it so much, because it was so muddy, he would happily stomp through the muddiest parts! |
| Gideon was sad when I made him get out of the mud, and keep hiking down the trail |
| My mom and dad bought me my own took kit. The kids are always using our tools and losing them, so now I have my own set. I was so happy to get this in the mail. |
| My handsome Joseph getting his hair cut, ready to turn in his mission papers, his last step was getting his haircut! |
| Before the haircut |
| Full missionary dress! |
| Gideon took my picture! |
| We were waiting at the beach for a friend to show up, so I entertained Gideon by taking his picture. He sure is a cute little guy! |
| Gideon fell off of Samuel's shoulders in the kitchen and hit his head really hard on the kitchen floor. I ended up taking him to the ER, because he was throwing up for 4 hours straight. He said he had the hiccups and the throwups. Poor little guy. He started feeling better once they gave him the anti-nausea medicine, and had me take him home to keep an eye on him since he had a concussion. |
So in the beginning of September, my parents were still here, helping out with Betsy. We went on a super muddy hike, and Gideon had an absolute blast! He couldn't get enough of the mud, and picked the muddiest spots to go it. Betsy had to swallow a pill camera to take pictures of her entire digestive tract, since they couldn't see into her intestines with the last procedure. She had to do the clean out prep, which was really hard for her, but she made it through. It took a while to get the results back, but they determined that she had several large polyps in her intestines with at least one bleeding. They also didn't have any doctors certified to do the procedure on the Island, so they will need to fly her to the mainland for the procedure. They said we could pick where, and Betsy said Oregon, or Utah. So meanwhile while we waited for the travel and hospital to be figured out, Betsy was still slowly losing blood, and still having pain in her stomach. She also started receiving a tutor from the school for 5 hours a week that would come to the house, and help her get some school work done.
I had a friend come and visit last minute for a week, she got a space A flight (free military flight). It was fun going a few places with her.
Joseph was able to finish everything he needed to, and put in his mission papers. I took him to a barber shop to get him his missionary haircut as the final thing, he looked so handsome afterwards.
We kept busy with dr appointments, orthodontist appointments (Austin), Taking Joseph to and from work at Starbucks and Papa Johns, and Austin to work at Pizza Hut.
